Brvtal Trve d'Baal plays grindcore the way it was meant to be played: short, loud, and without apology.

Brvtal Trve d'Baal emerged on Réunion Island from an idea carried by Gurvan. While working in the healthcare sector, he discovered that his colleague Fabrice shared his taste for extreme music and grind in the vein of Insect Warfare. Fabrice already had a large collection of grind and death metal riffs, and the two naturally began rehearsing together. The line-up soon took shape around three former members of the black metal band SithiS: Gurvan brought in vocalist Jessy “Jessyfer” and bassist Tony “NevraX”, joining guitarist Fabrice “Fabrice Carnage” and drummer Gurvan “Typhvs Bellvm Nvntis”. The band's music follows a simple rule: keep it short, brutal and intense. Frequent changes, sudden accelerations and breaks concentrate as much energy as possible into compact songs, while the live set is arranged in blocks to maintain a continuous impact. Fabrice drives much of the writing with his grind and death metal riffs; Gurvan adds ideas shaped by black and thrash metal before the material is refined collectively. The resulting sound balances raw urgency with enough precision for every riff, groove and transition to remain clear. Psychiatry, black humour and the absurd run through the lyrics. The use of Réunion Creole is both personal and musical: rooted in island life, it brings extra rhythm, force and sincerity to Jessyfer's vocals. After three singles, Brvtal Trve d'Baal is preparing a fourth release and aims to carry its uncompromising live energy beyond Réunion Island. “The truth is Brvtal.”
